My prom is tomorrow, and I have to find eye shadows and liners so that I can replicate this eye makeup look!
Here are some pictures of what I'm trying to get my eye makeup to look like:

Not only do I have to try to do this on my own, but I have no idea what color eye shadows I should be looking for or how to apply it correctly. Also, my skin is very oily and eye shadows tend to smudge and crease very easily on me.
Can anyone help me out? If I go to Ulta tomorrow, what color eye shadows and liners should I look for? Are there any specific brands that you might recommend?
Thanks in advanced! I need all of the help that I can get!Eye makeup help - what types of eye shadows should I buy and how can I replicate this look?
If you can, buy MAC products.
A BIG TIP is, before your prom, practise at least once, because then you can get used to it, and know how to do it and stuff.
Looks like you'll need a medium brown eyeshadow, just a bit darker than this

and a brown one shade darker than that
and a shimmery gold one too,

a black liquid eyeliner, a black volumizing mascara and a black eyeliner too.
First prime your eyes, this will prevent creasing and smudging and stuff.
Then apply the brown all over your lids, and the darker shade in your crease and your outer corner. If you don't know how to do this, just youtube it.
Then apply the gold over the top, and underneath your eyes aswell.
Apply the liquid eyeliner on the top, and wing it out a bit, just follow the part on this video where it talks about liquid eyeliner.

Then apply the pencil eyeliner on your bottom waterline, and then apply 2 coats of mascara on the top, and one on the bottom.Eye makeup help - what types of eye shadows should I buy and how can I replicate this look?
it looks like shades of brown with some shimmery tones. You can use Physician's formula Shimmery Strips or New York Color Quartets which both give you some shimmer. But PF is more on the expensive side wherease NYC is more on the cheap side. Either way, you get more for your money.

mary kay has thing product that makes your eye make-up stay in place and not crease at all... not sure the name.. you can google it... it really helped me.... as for eyeshadow... you wanna have a neutral base as your all over color... then you want to add the colors you want.. in your case, i think you should get two different tones of gold.. (one more bronze than the other..) and you want to put the darker one on the bottom kindda as if it was a think liner... then add the lighter one more on the crease of the eye... you need to blend it really good.. you just play with the colors so you can get the results you want....
good luck..
