HUGE PROBLEMS WITH MAKEUP!!!!! HELP?

I kinda like makeup so i wear it sometimes, but when i wear it, my friends either dont notice it or say its really bad. My eyeshadow doesnt last for more than an hour, my blush is too sparkly and visible, My mascara clumps, doesnt give volume nor length, and when i try to wear pencil eyeliner, i cant put it on! I always miss under the lashes and i simply cant put it on the roots of my top lashes!(i think its fear)Currently i'm using: mascara: covergirl professional mascara

eyeshadow/blush/eyepencil: Ulta (which sucks)

This weekend i'm going to buy some new makeup so i need help.

Please any tips, or makeup suggestions. Only use covergirl or maybelline... dont use ulta cuz IT FREAKIN SUCKS!!!HUGE PROBLEMS WITH MAKEUP!!!!! HELP?
foundation- CoverGirl Clean Makeup Foundation.

Blush-Avon's mark brand has good blush that doesn't look overdone

Eye liner- Any brand. The pencil kind. (Avon colortrend works well)

Mascara-Revlon

I personally use Avon a lot, most of the products are even better than drugstore brands.

Depending on how old you are, your make up style should vary. Basically though when it comes to eyeliner what you want to do is make it ';blend'; in not to the point that it's faded but just enough to look like it wasn't painted on.

after you apply a stick eyeliner to your bottom lids wait about 10 seconds then smudge it using your finger (gently) orr using a eye shadow brush to smudge it

for eye shadow you can try a neutral beige tone just to highlight your eyes and if you want eye liner on your top lid liquid looks best. what i usually do is first use a eye pencil on my top lids and then retrace it with liquid eye liner. this helps it from becoming uneven bc the pencil is easier to control and easier to trace.

when it comes to concealer/foundation/blush. start with concealer, just put it whereever your skin tends to get red. while you let it dry you should be doing your eye liner. after youre done with your eye liner go back to your face and put foundation on. apply it with a sponge/fingers. either one works. just make sure you wash your hands before hand. then let your foundation dry. and while youre waiting do your eye shadow. after that add blush to the apples of your cheeks and finish up your eyes and youre set

i know this is long and it sounds like a lot but it takes 20 mins tops.

the key to putting on makeup well is dont rush. let everything dry before you layer something on top of it.

btw i've started an advice column on youtube about questions like this. if you want to check it out and comment whatever other questions you may have i'd be glad to answer them. :)

Eyeliner: Revlon ColorStay: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_a369Eh2-ovA/SC鈥?/a>

I dont know about blush: Maybe Covergirl or M.A.C

hope this helps!!
I have added some web sites that may help you. If you have all ready tried the Maybeline make up tips web site and the covergirl web site all ready then I apologize. But those two sites maybe able to answer your questions. In the mean time is there anyone that you know who's make-up you find pretty on them that may be able to help you out? You might even try one of those make-up counter Clerks in one of the department stores. The only draw back to that is they may try to sell you some of the make up there.Good luck!
Well I think some of your problems might be application. It just takes practice. Maybe go with a lighter color of blush. Not too crazy of colors on your eyes. You should also use an eyelash curler, with just a little mascara on the tips of your lashes. Putting eyeliner on takes practice.

I don't really know which brands. My favorite is New York Color.
go to your local makeup counter. ask to get a makeover, and make sure you tell them you want to learn. of course common courtesy is to purchase product.
First off, limit the variety of make up you wear. I use avon most often, but I sometimes use other brands, so get avon if you can, if not, i will give a few more suggestions.

Mascara- Black or a black/brown combo. Try out the mascara in a pink tube with a green cap. It lengthens and never clumps. For a more dramatic look use neutragena in the gold tube.

Eyeshadow- believe it or not, ulta has AMAZING EYE SHADOWS! everything else sucks tho, lol. If you reaaallllly don't want ulta, avon is good awesome cool. Try to get a matte (no sparkle) shadow. also, b4 using eyeshadow get a thing called a PRIMER. It helps eye shadows go on smooth and stay on alllllllllll day and NIGHT!

For blush I would use a PALE shade, or switch to a bronzor, just don't get one that looks orange. Physicians formula makeup works great for either product.

GOOD LUCK.

for eyeliner practice putting it on at home, then incorporate it once you get the hang on things. Try avon's glimmer sticks- it is a creammy eyeliner in a twist tube that you trace on like a pencil!
Sometimes you have to spend money to buy good makeup.

Don't wear blush, nine times out of ten it looks tacky if you don't do it right. With your eyeshadow, put a little bit of foundation and vaseline on your eyelids, this works as a 'primer' and helps to stick on longer. If you want a good Covergirl mascara, try LashExact (the purple one) because it doesn't clump and makes your lashes super long.

When putting on mascara, put your head right back as you're doing it.

With eyeliner you just need practise. Buy Covergirl Perfect Blend- it's the best frigging eyeliner in the world! Always remember to sharpen it each time you use it though.

I hope this helps. Good luck :)
foundation - maybelline superstay silky

eyeliner pencil - covergirl perfect blend

mascara - covergirl lash blast

im pretty sure covergirl and maybelline are made by the same company so either of their eyeshadows are pretty good.

put your foundation on, then put a powder on with a similar colour to the foundation(nothing with glitter) to seal in your foundation and make it last longer. then use your blush on your cheek bones going up toward the hairline. i use a brown blush cause i have pinky toned skin. then put your eyeshadow on - light colour over the eyelid and then the darker colour in the crease of the eye starting from the outside of your eye to about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way into the inside. then eyeliner, dont put it on the ';lip'; of the eye it only makes your eyes appear smaller. put it on the top lid along the eyelash line to about 1/2 way from the outside. then same along the bottom. you can put the lighter colour eyeshadow along the bottom from the inside till it meets the eyeliner. then put your mascara on with your eyes half closed and going down on the lashes (doing the top) and then go up on the eyelashes wait a few seconds and put a second coat on. then lip gloss and your done =) hope this helps a bit, practice makes perfect
I use the same mascara as you and i love it-- its cheap and works great on me. I think you should ask your mom to teach you how to apply make up, or an older sister?, or one of your friends who knows how to put on make up. Covergirl and Rimmel london are my favorite brands, but mainly covergirl. Go to target or wal mart and go through the covergirl section, they always have something there! if your a blond or have light red hair use black-brown eyeliner and mascara, and if you have dark hair you can wear black, very black, etc. if you want.

When your just starting to wear makeup you should wear colors that look natural and bring out your eyes and cheekbones or your best features. So my main advice is to just ask someone to teach you how to apply it-- that seems to be your main problem!! Hope i helped :)
haha yeah i had the same problem. for the eyelashes, curl them and then try covergirl full and soft mascara. then, go easy on the eyeshadow. outlining your eyes will make them pop, and too much shadow looks overdone. to figure out what color blush to get, pinch your cheeks a few times and that color should be the color of your blush. make sure to use a foundation so your makeup won't wear off. get an eyelash brush (at ulta or any other place that sells cosmetic brushes) for those clumpy lashes. ask the sales people at ulta or sephora to help you with the application part. hope this helped! happy makeup shopping! :)
ok on youtube i have makeup videos that show you a ton of new looks

www.youtube.com/user/yunging19

And a tip for your eyes:

you know how on your lower lash line, if you pull it down a little there is kinda like two small areas, one closer to your lashes and on that sits on your eye Apply your eyeliner to the one closest to your eye (See my videos)

Also, dont use alot of eyeshadow until you get the hang of the eyeliner because if you apply it to thickly it looks really trashy.

Another tip, if you have okay skin, dont use foundation, instead use concealer. It works just as well, but it doesnt clog all of your pores, then set it with a powder close to your skin tone.

For a full face here is your look: it works with all skin tones, but you may need different shades for lighter or darker skin

Face: conceal,

powder,

LIGHTLY blush,

or even better then blush, lightly bronze your face (try maybelline mineral bronzer, dont go too dark or it will just look like a bad tan)

Eyes:

Line the inside of your eyes (try maybelline new york UNSTOPPABLE in espresso or black.

Lightly dust the crease of your eye with a gold or light brown shadow. (the crease is below the line when your look in the mirror) see vids

Lips: use a lip chap to moisten, then dab off excess, then lightly brush with your fav. gloss, prefered a nude or light pink. (again skin tone will adjust the shades.

Hope that helps!!!
