My teenage daughter + Makeup = Help?!?

So, recently my 14 year old teenage daughter started wearing makeup since she's entered Middle School. I can't tell you the name's of the makeup, but it's eye pencil with some lip gloss, and some other teenage goop. In the picture below, I wanted to have it in order from age (oldest to youngest) And I noticed she hoped in the front of the picture and wanted to be first! Despite being the middle child and should have in the middle. She's the one with the glasses on. I think her body language is showing me she's rebelling, and wanting to be the older sister and in charge here. Is this a sign of rebelling, wanting to act older, yes or no? Should I be worried?

http://i646.photobucket.com/albums/uu184…My teenage daughter + Makeup = Help?!?
You just posted pictures of your kid for thousands to see..... I'm more worried about you nowMy teenage daughter + Makeup = Help?!?
I think your daughter looks perfectly fine. Teenagers will have attitude, and there's nothing much you can do about it but just let them be and let them know how grateful you are to have them in your life. I myself being a teenager, know what it's like. The more your parent restricts you from something, the more they will want to do it. Have an open relationship with her, it's better to accept the things she does than to have her sneak around behind your back. It's a whole new generation, and things might not be the same from when you were a teenager.
I started wearing make-up when I was 12-13 and I'm a perfectly adjusted adult :). But I wore it as more of a way to fit in with my peers than to rebel against my parents. There are bigger things to worry about than makeup on a teenager. As the middle child, she is no doubt looking for more attention and trying to redefine her role or image of self-worth. Self esteem may be an issue, it certainly was for me at that age and I wasn't even a middle child.
She looks normal to me! Her younger sister looks like she has more ';attitude'; than she does! LOL It is not uncommon for the middle child to not want to have ANYTHING to do with the ';middle child'; label. Maybe that's why she forced her way to the head of the line.

The only ABNORMAL thing about her is how normal she does look. Most girls now are wearing make-up by 5th grade!!! It's crazy!
no, you shouldn't be worried. she is probably just your outgoing child compared to the rest. she just wants to be the center of attention. there is nothing to worry about until she gives you a good reason to be worried. like bringing home an older boy with tatoos. then you should have a talk with her.

just lighten up and give her a little space to find her place and originality.
No Offence but I don't see the big deal in Your Daughter wearing makeup. And I think, judging by the picture that she isn't trying to be the elder sister or rebelling. And your lucky to have a 14 yr old that doesn't wear 2 much makeup 'cause alot of 14 yr olds wear much more makeup that shes wearing! Good Luck!
she looks a little rebellious the way she is doing her mouth.. but whats the big deal about having to be in the middle. looking at those kinds of pictures i wouldnt think any of them were in the actual order they were born. make-up isn't such a bad thing if she doesnt over-do it. i think you're over-reacting a bit and i agree with the first answerer, you shouldnt have posted pictures of them on here.
Being the middle child can be hard.

The youngest needs the most babying,

and the oldest is your first born, first to do everything.

And don't sweat the makeup.

It's peeerfectly normal.

=)

Edit: And also, a boy from my school wears mulit coloured tight jeans, with a Hannah Montanna shirt. A BOY.
What?

This sounds a little ridiculous if you ask me

So she wanted to be the main focus of the picture? How is that rebelling? IF ANYTHING she wants more attention from you. But you are looking way to much into it

Secondly, what 14 year old girl doesnt want to start playing around with make-up?
I don't think you should be worried. In middle school I tried many different things to get attention, it's normal. As for the makeup, I think that is fine. Most girls start wearing a little bit of makeup (eyeliner, powder, lip gloss) when they enter middle school.
I think she just wants to act older, I think you should be worried to a point to be aware of the people she hangs out with. But besides that, if something happens in her social life, she can learn from her fortunes or misfortunes.
Try being more of a parent and understand her intentions. She is wearing make up so she can look nice and get attention from people who care about her. Try caring about her, and not being such a tightass and maybe you will have less problems with her.
you got to let her grow up some time but just make sure she doesnt where to much makeup and let her wear some if you loosen up on her she wont rebel as much when she gets older but im also not saying give her freedom just loosen the leash a bit
alot of teenagers are wearing makeup...... and ya, i dont think the picture was necessary... you have now showed a picture of you family for the world to see. you should take it off
Her hormones are definitely kicking in although usually it happens around 7th grade. Get ready for the worst. Besides she has to learn how to apply makeup sometime.
huh? what? calm down. Shes the typical teenage girl..you should expect this from at least one of your girls...it happens when they get in trouble or put on makeup ..its in their hormones lol

x]]]]
Lol my dad HATES when I wear make-up. Your daughter is only wearing make-up to look pretty for herself and others. I don't think you should be worried at all.
trying to look hot and being rebellious arent always they same thing. dont be the lame kind of mom. 14 isnt even young to start wearing make up rofl
i think it's ok to a center point,if she starts to dress sexy and show more skin and things like that then be worried
no u shouldnt be worried. im a teenager, i wear eyeliner, and mascara and stuff and im like an angel. haha
Shes just confident with the make up on. Let her be free.
i think i know her is she going to 8th grade?
Yeah, she looks like she has a little attitude brewing... but I don't really think it's wise to post pics of your kids online like that... just my opinion..
Hi

I checked out the picture and im a seventeen year old teen and In my opinion I really dont think her body language reads that she's rebelling. I know as parents, you guys really look at the details of a teens actions and sometimes reading into them too much can cause unnecessary stress. She seems to be a reserved girl in the picture just looking to have a little fun with the expression on her face..worrying about her body language in this picture is pointless b/c it could be interpreted many ways..maybe she was bored...maybe her stomach was hurting and she just didnt feel good...maybe she just decided spur of the moment to change her facial expression...you'll just never really know and honestly its nothing to worry about. :)

As a teen who does silly stupid things...you should just relax and not sweat the small stuff...im not telling you to back off..b/c maybe your daughter is trying to do different things that u wouldnt expect b/c she's trying to find out who she is and what she's comfortable with.

Just keep an eye on her and if u notice signs of behavior that you dont think is cool...then thats when you sit down with her, have a cool attitude, and ask her wassup, ask her how she's feeling, and let her know that you wont judge her b/c you were once a teen b4 and you understand the want to rebel or try things out.

hope this helps :)

btw...wearing make-up is fine..just make sure she isn't trying to look older and that she doesn't wear to much. Natural beauty is the best beauty :)
Most people are pissing me off about wearing makeup at around 12. What people don't notice is that we are maturing faster than our moms and dads. We watch MTV around the age of 11. Watch PG-13 movies around the age of 11. People are starting to date around the age of 10. I learned about boobs and sex at 7! This isn't the 90's anymore. This is the 21st century and we are maturing faster and faster.

So you know what I say, wear makeup! You should have been wearing makeup since 7th grade. WEAR MAKEUP!

Lost my temper there for a second :)

-This is how I put on makeup and I'm going into 7th grade.

-Put on moisturizer. If you have acne, put a big dot of moisturizer and a big dot of foundation on a circle/square makeup sponge and apply on face.

-Get liquid eyeliner and apply on upper lash line. This is called tight lining (you won't be able to find a youtube video about it). If it gets on your eyelid, then dip a q-tip in Pond's cold cream and put on lid. That's why you put the eyeliner on first, so your other eye makeup won't mess up. This will look like you are wearing eyeliner on the lid, but youre not which is great!

-Get a liquid foundation and put a big dot on each lid and on dark circles.Gently slide across on lid, use a rolling motion on circles, but don't make it go away.

-Get a concealer brush and blend in the rest of the foundation. This will give your eyes a lighter look.

-*OPTIONAL*Get MAC Studio fix powder and apply on lid with eye shadow brush.

-Get black eye kajal and waterline bottom 1/3 or 2/3 in. Waterline the top until your eyelashes stop. The top might be hard to waterline. Make sure you don't poke yourself!

-Get mascara and gently stroke lashes

-Get blush or bronzer. Apply on each cheek 3 times. Add a little on forehead, chin, and nose.

-Finish with light lip gloss!

Take good care of your skin. Don't sleep with makeup. Wash face with Clearasil face wash.
No you shouldn't be worried. I'm 13 and I wear tons of eye liner, eye shadow, cover-up and sometimes lipgloss. Everyone at school wears it, and it makes you look better. Maybe she relized, hmm, Make-up makes you look better. She isn't rebelling, but the little siblings like being first once in a while. Sometimes the older sibs are treated differently because they are oldest, and the parents take their side more maybe..? Just leave her alone.. Plus a lot of adults wear ';goop'; So it isn't ';teenaged'; its ';all-aged';.. Plus your daughter looks a lot prettier w/ the make-up! Hope I was of help! :] %26lt;3
She is about the right age for wanting to wear makeup. Most girls are going to experiment and wear it at some point. anyway. And it seems like they are starting younger. I have 12 yr old cousins who wear so much makeup - more than I ever do or did (and I am 26).

If wearing makeup and jumping in the front line of a picture is the worst that she has done, then consider yourself lucky :)

She is the middle child (like myself) so maybe she just wants some attention. Spend some 'me' time with each of your daughters. And listen and talk to her. Don't judge her for the makeup she wears. That doesn't give any clue of rebelling.

And anyway, most teenagers go through a difficult stage. I was very moody and difficult when I was about 16. I wasn't bad or into drugs or sex or anything. It's just something teens go through.

Any Prom Eye Makeup Help!!!!?

I'm doing my cousins makeup for prom and need some suggestions...

She's fair skinned but has a tan right now (for prom)

Has dark brown eyes

Brown hair

Her Dress Is Yellow.

Of course I want a dramatic Look but I tried doing a smoky eye with grays and darker in the crease but it looked like it would be too overpowering with her dress.

What should I do? Any color suggestions? I want to stay away from yellow eyeshadow cause, well, I'm pretty sure yellow would look hideous on anyone.Any Prom Eye Makeup Help!!!!?
i would try doing black mascara (2 coats on top lashes, one on bottom) with a brown eyeshadow on the outer corner or her eyelids, and a light pink shimmery eyeshadow on the inner corner of eyesAny Prom Eye Makeup Help!!!!?

This would look GREAT for prom. Links to what she used is on the right side bar.
Well blue and green colors look GREAT for brown eyes. or like a cool neon pink with some black eyeliner a cool blush and a touch or mascara. maybe jewerly loooks cool to. btw neon and 80s is kinda the style now.

Im new to makeup..help? plz?

Hey

ok so im 15 and im goin into the 10th grade

i wanna know what i should start off with because im totally new to makeup..i havnt even ever wore chapstick

wut kind of mascaras shud i use.lipgloss...blush..

and eyeshadow..when i watch other ppl apply it it looks easy but then i try myself and once went to school with it on and this girl said my makeup loookd hideus

so i basically applyed it all wrong..and i dont understand what the crease is and all..

so pleaaseee can u help lol

im clueless about all thisIm new to makeup..help? plz?
Do NOT use blush! It makes young girls look like clowns, literally. It's ridiculous. Women use it because their skin has gotten duller with age, and they are trying to look young.. as in.. just like you!

Don't overdo it with makeup, start really slowly, and learn as you go.

Lip gloss, but not too colorful or sticky. I love clear of very barely tinted ones. Lip stains are nice, too. They're matte, and you can put lip gloss over them.

You can try going to a makeup counter at Sephore and getting a bit of advice, but be careful because they WILL overdo it! Lol.

For eyeshadow, start with very natural colors, don't use dark. Whatever you do, do not do the whole heavy eyeliner thing.

You can see techniques of how to put on eyeshadow in magazines or online. Just do the really natural looks. Practice at home before you actually wear it anywhere.

A good way to start is to wear only one thing at a time.

So if you wear a little eyeshadow, just wear lip balm with no color on your lips.

If you are wearing a lip gloss that is tinted, don't put on eyeshadow.

Mascara is not really necessary, because most girls your age don't need to accentuate their eyelashes, and just end up looking clumpy and gross.Im new to makeup..help? plz?
im goin into 9th and ive been wearin makeup for a year lol.

dont worry about creases and stuff. dont use peoples advice until you understand it lol. just use the eyshadow applicator, and put the eyeshadow on your eyelid. not all over it, just the part that is right above your eye. like the top part above the eye in this pic, and not above where the little line(i think thats the crease lol) is: http://www.optassociates.com/images/blep鈥?/a>

k so for mascara, try maybelling great lash, you can get it at CVS, walmart, walgreens, drugstores. i'd use black. you can use eyeliner if you want too, but not a lot.

for eyeshadow colors, use purples, golds, browns, bronzes, greens, and silvers.

hope i helped!
Your best bet is to stay as close to your natural shade of skin as you kid, just starting off. The less and more natural looks are the best for those just starting out. Dear Garmati,

I'm Vanessa (Ashleigh's sister) and I believe that since you are going into the 10th grade, you should try out mascara, eyeshadow, %26amp; eyeliner. What color is your skintone?

~*~ Vanessa ~*~
MAC makeup is really good, and if you go there, they tell you how to use it and where to put it. Also what colors would look good with your skin.
Ok then. In my opinion MAC is a great brand of Make up. They normally have great products.

http://www.maccosmetics.com/

Ok first off you should wear a foundation that is close to your skin tone. Use it to cover up blemishes. I suggest wearing a powder foundation, because it is better for your skin. Apply it with a wide brush, if you use a make up sponge, than it generally will look to heavily applied.

http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>

http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>

Wear a Black eyeliner. Do not wear brown eyeliner. Black eyeliner is best for people with brown eyes, and it will normally make your eyes pop!

Wear it on the top lid of your eyes, and put it on lightly on the bottom.

Do not put it on too thick, or else it will look really bad.

http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>

If you want to wear eyeshadow (I do suggest you do so)

Shades of green and gold accentuate the flecks of color in brown eyes.

The crease is at the top of your eyelid.

Maybe buy an olive or medium brown colored eye shadow. Once you get good at putting on eye shadow, you can learn how to put on two different colors.

http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>

Wear a black mascara.

http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>

Since you are tanned you should wear a dark pink or rose blush. Do not put it on heavy. Only a litttle bit from the top of your cheeks, down.

http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/spp.鈥?/a>

And finnally, wear a light pink lip gloss.

You could probably find cheaper makeup. Just remember to stick to the colors that would look best of your features. The more you practice it, the easier it gets to apply. Maybe you could get a friend or an adult to show you how to apply it, or look up tutorials on the internet.
Hey! I am fourteen I wear makeup. I haven't really gotten into eyeshadow yet like wearing it daily but I would like to! Um but the cease is where when your eyes are closed and you begin to open them a little you should see a crease. But on youtube there is a girl named Kat and her username is eyelovemac. She gives great tutirols on eye shadow! CHeck it out. I will give you tips on the other stuff though. I'll give you the links at the end. Best mascara you need to buy...Covergirl lashblast! Works great! I also love covergirl's lip gloss! It is one of my favorites. I like cover girl's and bare escentual's blush! They have good colors and it blends well. You should think about eyeliners too! Apply to just the top or top and bottum. I reccomend either covergirl pencil eyeliner or bare escentuals eyeliner shadows(i use).

ha well i guess better late than never....

so do your eyebrows.

http://blogs.salon.com/0003935/images/20鈥?/a>

1.get a moustiourizour, put it everywhere even on your neck

2.maybelline mineral power concealer ( put on acne or blimishes and under eyes to hide the bags)

http://www.maybelline.com.au/PRODUCTS/Fa鈥?/a>

4. maybelliner mineral power pressed powder

start at forehead and go down.

http://www.cozycot.com/files/maybelline_鈥?/a>

5. if you want a blush start out with a bronzer so that you dont over do it for now.( smile, then start at the bump or the cheek and smear it back and up) http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_8FcdBQs8MOk/SK鈥?/a>

6. now the eyes. if you want eyeliner then take the ring finger and pull down the bottom of the eye and put it on the water line (which is the line above the bottom lashes. http://beautyreference.files.wordpress.c鈥?/a>

7. now lashes, put the wond behind the top lashes and roll your wrist up. so that it coats the lashes from behind then do the from ( as long as they dont look clumpy and you can see them it will be fine) maybelline lash stiletto

http://juvenescent.files.wordpress.com/2鈥?/a>

8. then a white or clear with sparkles lip gloss

i suggest you do some research and find out with kind of eyeshadow looks good with your color of eye until you wear it to school.

good luck and make it look natural for now... over time you should add make up

like liquid eyeliner

eyeshadow

more lip gloss
ok first of all u should buy mac its AMAZING!

FACE- if u have any blemishes then use some concealer, if not pressed powder foundation, use a blush that looks like your natural flush color and then smile and apply it to the apples of your cheeks.

EYES- it depends on your eye color. for hazel use pink shades, for blue use more browns, for brown use purples, and for greens use more taupe based browns and purples. eyeliner same thing, brown eyeliner is more natural so try that before black. mascara is always gorgeous. dont worry about the crease shades for now if your just starting out.

LIPS- anything works! but if your doing a dramatic or dark eye do a light or nude lip. if your eyes are lighter and less dramatic....experiment.

EXTRA HELP- on youtube there are some good videos. my favorite users are allthatglitters21, juicystar07, and fafinettex3 hope i helped :) answer mine please

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a>
Okay well since you're new to makeup, keep it super simple. Skip foundation if you have pretty even skin already. Go straight to a little bit of eye makeup. If you want to use eyeliner, only use a little bit. Apply it to the outer corners as close to your lash line as possible. Just line a tiiiiiny bit, like a centimeter in, and then blend a little bit with your ring finger. If you aren't using eyeliner, you can use eyeshadow. Keep with something neutral toned, like a champagne, light pink, blush colored, or light browns. If the color you use is dark, put it in the crease of your eye.

http://images.vixen719.multiply.com/imag鈥?/a>

Where the dark color is in that picture is the crease, but don't apply it as far into your inner eye as she did. Keep it on the outside like your eyeliner. If the eyeshadow is medium, it doesn't really matter where you apply it. The lighter the shadow, apply it to the brow bone.

http://www.lamasbeauty.com/beauty/images鈥?/a>

The brown bone is right underneath your eyebrow. You can also add light, shimmery eyeshadow to the inner corner of your eyes. This will open up your eyes.

As far as mascara goes, try this tutorial, because it's kind of confusing if I try and explain it in words.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSj2E_iiC鈥?/a>

If you want to wear lip gloss, keep it light, and neutral toned. No bright pinks or purples or red. Clear would be best. If you don't want to use lip gloss, try chapstick, which will still give your lips a little bit of shine.

Good luck! Any more questions - email me.

I need prom makeup help !!?

Ok so i dont normally wear makeup, i was wonder what kind of foundation to wear on my face my skin is dark like this coluor.

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/72/216604491_97350967ff.jpg

anyways im going to my prom soon and i wanna knwo what colout eye shadow; lip gloss;

most importantly what kind of foundation, the name and clour?

THANKSI need prom makeup help !!?
Hi.

Most brands will have a suitable foundation to suit your skin-tone, I'd recommend mixing the foundation with moisturiser - if you don't really wear make-up that often.

It just gives you a lovely dewy glow, and it reduces the risk of getting foundation patches/uneven skin tone.

You probably won't want to spend a lot on foundation, if you won't wear it a lot after, so I'd recommend a brand such as Rimmel London - it's affordable and good coverage.

As for eye make up, I'd use a taupe colour over the eyelid. Then on the outer corners maybe use a bronze/gold that is going to draw attention to your eyes. A few coats of mascara - and you should be good to go.

Lip-gloss - Nude lips are a classic look. Lip-balm then a clear lip-gloss should work well.

Remember to either play up your eyes or lips - don't do both, otherwise you risk looking odd.

I'd also practise putting on this make-up before hand - just so you don't make many mistakes on the day.

Good luck, hope I helped, and remember... Have fun!!I need prom makeup help !!?
well first you bye a really cute prom dress depends what color the dress is and if it is white you where red or clear lip gloss just base your makeup on the color of the dress and try to match or it will not look good !

good luck on the prom hope you have a lucky date

  • I need some makeup help?

I'm thirteen, and in eighth grade. Everyone always asks me what high school I'm going to, and things like that, assuming that I'm fifteen or sixteen. I know that I look older than I am already, but I really want to wear makeup. Is there any way I can wear makeup that will make me look my age? I already wear eyeliner (black, since I have blue eyes; only on the water line) and foundation since I'm pale and my acne causes red spots on my face, but what else could I wear?I need some makeup help?
wearing more makeup wont make you look younger, it will make you look older. Try using more neutral colors, light brown instead of black eyeliner,I need some makeup help?
My suggestion is keep it simple. Wear neutrals on your lids and on your lips. For blush I suggest a sheer blush that gives you a little color. Or you can wear a small amount of bronzer to give you a good glow.
try blush and lipgloss maybe mascara to but eyeliner always makes people look older
A lil eyeshadow %26amp; Lip Gloss(not lipstick; makes you look older %26amp; lip gloss is more ';younger';) %26amp; a lil mascara if you want. Dont use a whole lot of eyeliner and foundation that makes you look older. You can use as much makeup as you want just dont overdo it cause thats what will make you look older.

    Hope I helped [:
I have blue eyes, and black eyeliner on the lid, or waterline is a big no no! You need brown! it accents your eyes.
well you already sound pretty but..

    Mascara

    eye shadow

lip gloss (not lipstick it looks bad)

blush (not too much, and a color that suits you)

what ever you like and think looks good :)

and also for the acne use Nutrogena spot gel and get

tablets/capsuals from the doctor to fix your acne

and for the pale skin %26amp; the acne drink lots of water

and eat a bit healthier =)
Less make up would make you look more your age, if i were you i would just use mascara and just skip the eyeliner. If you like bronzer or blush go ahead and use it but not too much and lastly of course lip gloss!(=

I need some makeup help? pictures included. ?

I'm 14 I have ok combination skin ( I have a couple of scars from acne and pimples when its my time of the month but nothing out of control) I am going to Wal-Mart soon to pick up some makeup items before school starts and I need to know how much is suitable for a 14 year old in Grade 9. Here is the link for a picture of me :-) http://photo.xanga.com/Blue_skies28/cdd67208655129/photo.html

I have a skintone that's beige-ish lol big brown eyes( they look black in the picture but they are brown) with nice long full lashes so I don't need any mascara. I want my make-up too look natural and make sure it doesn't take forever.I don't need foundation but I want nice coverage whenever I have a pimple or something. So any recommendations? Try to make sure it isn't tested on animals ( Physician's Formula and Revlon don't test on animals :-) )I need some makeup help? pictures included. ?
I have really long lashes too, but I wear a small amount of mascara just to keep them in order. I suggest a little bit of eyeliner, a bit of mascara, and if you're going to wear eyeshadow, apply it very lightly. Don't wear lipstick, but maybe a clear lipgloss. it's natural. I hope I've helped!!

**if you wear foundation, just get one in your skintone and don't wear too much. just a small sweep around your face will do the trick. To cover up acne scars, apply a little concealer onto the spots before your foundation.I need some makeup help? pictures included. ?
Well id still say wear mascara, because itll make your eyes look even prettier.

Id go with physcians formula mineral powder.

And a light blush is a must have, its gives a pretty flushed look.

    And a clear lip gloss.

Itll take maybe five minutes in the mornig and youll look gorgeous,

although you really dont need any of that stuff.
I don't know what to tell you about going to Wal-Mart. I use BareMinerals, which you can get from Sephora. It's great coverage, looks totally natural, and isn't tested on animals.
I think you look great as is!!!

But I also think you would look good with some eyeliner/smokey eye effect, and maybe a little blush and a pale/neutral lipstick (Like not enough to really add colour to your lips, just to define them more (your shape is good!)
ok use the make-up you suggested

and get a good concealer and loose powder and pressed powder

lightly dab concealer on any pimples you get and set it with the loose powder bring the pressed powder to keep oil under control
I say some powder for your face something to control oil and a simple lip gloss that has SPF in it maybe a nice nude color with a little bit of pink in it also clear mascara to make your eyelashes shiny.
well they sell eye shadow that is customized to your eye color which is a good thing to get, also lip gloss. i am also 14 and i never wear very much makeup.. just a little is necessary.

    hope this helps =]
well you dont need much make-up maybe just a light pink gloss some netragina fondation and a light blush and the foundation would probubly help with covering a pimple so thats about all you will need

you should put on some eyeliner cuz it will make ur eyes pop out. some mascara it looks good and an eyeshadow whichlooks good w/ ur outfit.
First of all your really very pretty. I would defintly recommend some eye shadow. By the way I'm really glad you dont want to have your make up tested on animals. GO ANIMAL RIGHTS LOL :-)
    conceler, mascara and some blush!
ok put mascara and eye liner
put makeup on from animal free stores
Maybe wear some eyeshadow? Colour to match what your wearing

    With a tint of blusher?

hmm, you need some eyeliner, mascara and some brown eye shadow.

not dark brown, just brown enough to match your skin tone pretty good. it'll look natural and add a little sparkle to it. you might wanna get some coverup, since you said you had zits.

and you might wanna get some exfoliating face wash or just antibacterial soap, and the neutrogena wave works, but you have to use it every night.

you just need to make sure to wash your face every day, with the wave and antibacterial soap or exfoliating scrub would be great. you need to prevent your pores from getting clogged. good nights sleep is very important too. if you can't afford the wave just gett the soap.

    your welcome!
Well u have deeper set eyes so u dont need much eyeliner if u want just quickly sweep a eyeliner (dark brown or black) on your lower lid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlQfJE14W… (focus on where shes putting the eyeliner

for coverup id use revlon custom creators so you can set the skin tone your self and even mix two heres a pic http://image.bizrate.com/resize?sq=160%26amp;u…

remember before and after applying any make up to use a oil free moisturizer to prevent future breakouts

lip gloss thats like a light pinky maroon

    Need hairstyle and makeup help?

my 23rd birthday in a little over a month and a half. we booked a venue yesterday (nightclub) and i need to look amazing cuz the kid from my work that i like is gunna be there. any suggestions for how to do my hair and makeup? i want bold yet classy (aka no raccoon eyes or bright red lipstick)

my outfit: turquoise and gold low cut shirt, dark fitted jeans, chocolate brown and gold 5 inch wedge heels, gold and diamond dangly earrings, turquoise, gold and black bangle and a gold ring

hair: is naturally straight and to my shoulder blades, dark brown with blunt bangs right above my eyes

i have dark green eyes and tan skin...please help!!

i cant wear my hair down and straight cuz it will frizz and get ratty looking when im dancing. i need to look SMOKING hot ;) thanks in advanceNeed hairstyle and makeup help?
for your hair... take about four inches of the piece of hair right behind your bangs and pull it back to the center of the back of your head and pin the ends. keep bringing back pieces and pinning the ends for a very sexy, but classy look. for your make up... i would go with some dark brown eyeliner. you put it on the bottom just on your lash line but make sure to get the entirety of your bottom eye because the halfway thing only makes you look weird and your eyes smaller... so put a very very very thin line of your brown eyeliner on your top lid and then take a sponge or smudging tip and go side to side making the eyeliner a little more visible, lighter, and sexier... then take a gold shimmery color and use it to smoke your eyes. start at the inner corner of your eye and sweep across side to side moving up every time. then take a darker color and shade in the crease of your eye to make your eyes POP if you want you can highlight your eyes with a turquoise shaddow. use a black mascara and eyelash curler... you can even use fake lashes if you really want to for an extra POP. for your lips i would use a very light lip stain or gloss... just keep blotting your lips after application until the color is only a little darker than your natural lip color. then spread a clear gloss over it.Need hairstyle and makeup help?

if ur just gunna say dont wear ANY makeup then dont answer...thanksNeed natural looking makeup help?
I am going to tell you what I think the best products for this are.

Lancome Photogenic concealer. It adjusts light to make the skin look better. It's about $25 now I think, but it can last for several months because a little goes a long way. Apply it under your eyes with a concealer brush for the best coverage. You can also apply with a cosmetic sponge but the coverage will be a little less.

Then apply Neutrogena Healthy Skin Glow Sheers foundation all over your face, even your eyes. It is good for the skin (It feels like a moisturizer), and it creates a great healthy looking glow. Apply the foundation with a cosmetic sponge, using a new sponge each application. You can get like 30 of them in a pack at a dollar store for a dollar.

For your eyes use a feathery mascara like Loreal Feather Lash. Also, get a pearlescent eyeshadow shade that nearly matches the shade of your skin, just slightly lighter. It's easiest to use an eyeshadow pencil, but you can use a powder shadow and an eyeshadow brush. Put a dab of the pearlescent shadow on the inner corners of the eyes and blend with your finger tip. Then draw a line with the shadow directly against the underneath of the brows that extends from the outer corners of the brows to about 1/3 the way inward. Blend that line with you fingertip also. The purpose of this is too make it look like light is hitting your eyes and to make them look more radiant.

On your lips just use a lip balm, something like Chapstick or Burt's Bees will be fine.

If you want blush too, try Pinch Me gel blush by Revlon. It looks a bit bright in the bottle but is actually sheer on the skin and gives the cheeks that look of being slightly naturally flushed. I use the cherry color.

Those products should give you the look you are going for.Need natural looking makeup help?
well honestly babe...being natural is pure elegance...i don't really know how many agree with me...but u want to go natural...u shld have a nice skin tone and condition...if you have an uneven skintone and you have alot of zits..i advise you not to do so...

for me i do go natural all the times except dates and special outings and occasions...the perfect nude look would be like just a 2 way cake you can try ZA they have 2 kinds to suit super different skin types..its super light weight and you wouldnt even feel its there....you won't need any blottes either as it doesn't turn oily after oxidising..then try mary kate and ashley bronzer by revlon (i think if i don't get it mixes up) then just a slight super hydrating lip balm with gloss...colours should stay remain in the brown range...also aply hilighter on your cheekbones and noseline (top) to define your looks (dUh~) you can try elizabeth arden's hilighter its good too...

for your blemishes..try blemish range by Elizabeth arden its good...my fren from aussie try it and it does works...

for your eyes..you should refrein from wearing eyeliners on ur under eyes and mascara on the undereye too...
    Bare Escentuals

    its like magic

some pretty golds and browns natural eyeshadows light mascara and your set

    some chapstick too
Lil Patch, my skin care and make up come from aularale.com/7002. It's all done w/the needs of people with sensitive skin in mind. They have cover sticks and an eye cream that works on darkness and puffiness around the eye area called xtra performance eye cream. It is fantastic! And the foundation matches your skin so you can't help but look natural. Of course the getting enough rest/sleep goes w/o saying and also drinking lots of water. A good vitamin/mineral supplement wouldn't hurt either.
If you want to go for the 'natural' look then don't WEAR any make up. Otherwise it's not natural. Well you can wear clear mascara or just a bit of black mascara and some lip gloss and maybe a tiny bit of powder/concealer but that's it. No lip liner or eye liner. Also wash your face every morning and night. Wash away any mascara and moisturize every morning. Always eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water. Exercise helps too. Spend at least an hour or so outside every day. Don't smoke or drink. No drugs.
maybelline is really good for natural looking makeup. go to a makeup artist in a mall near you, they can really help you for free. Or, just get some concealer to put under your eyes, and get some lightweight foundation. maybe a little powder to prevent shine. and then just some light but pretty shadows for your eyes. watch makeup videos on youtube or something for guides and ideas.

hope you find a good look!
Usually, having neat, well-kept eyebrows and an even complexion (good skin) will open up your entire face and bring out that gorgeous natural beauty. However, that does not mean that you shouldn't wear any makeup at all...it just means to really focus on features that will make you look beautiful - a little more naturally!

Use a moisturizing foundation to start. If you're concerned about using foundation, just get a tinted moisturizer (but a good brand so that your skin isn't tinted orange!). Blend it well and if you want to make it look even more natural, apply a thin layer of pressed powder on top. Use blush in a natural tone - soft pinks, light beige/brown and even a pale peach will work great, and the peach will contrast well with your green eyes. Never apply blush below your cheekbones, but just dust it across the apples of your cheeks and up slightly towards your temples. Use a big brush (the small ones that come with the blush hardly ever work) and use a circular motion to apply it. If you find that blush does not help with your natural look, bronzer looks more natural on some people. Apply it as you would apply blush, and then dust a small amount along your jawbones and forehead for an all-around glow.

As for your eyes, steer towards more natural tones like brown and charcoal grey, as black can be too harsh for a natural look. Using white liner will open up your eyes tremendously! With eyeliner, line only from the center of the inner rim of your eye and out towards the outer corner; it widens your eyes and makes you look as though you are not wearing as much, so it's a subtle look. Sometimes, eyeliner is not even needed! If you would prefer, only use it on your eyelids close to the eyelashes. Use a very steady hand and don't make the line too thick. For mascara, use 2-3 coats for volumous lashes. Start from the roots of your eyelashes and drag the wand to the tip. Wait until the previous coat has dried before applying the next. For eyeshadow, use soft, earthy tones. Not only will they help with your natural look but they are great shades for winter. Soft beiges and light bronze are good shades, but if you want to play it up a bit, you can try a pale lilac. Lilac will really bring out the green in your eyes and make your eyes stand out. If you want your eyes to look further apart, apply a darker shade to the outer half of your eyelid and a lighter shade to the inner half. Be sure to blend it well. If you want them to look closer together, do the exact opposite of that - lighter on the outside, darker on the inside. Putting a dark colour in the crease of your eyelid really makes your eyes pop. A light dusting of a pale, shimmery shadow across your browbone opens up your eyes.

For your lips, apply either just ChapStick or lip balm or add a gloss or lipstick on top. Applying ChapStick or lip balm first as a base to make the gloss or lipstick last longer. Use a nude gloss or lipstick to set off your natural look. If you find that that does not work for you, try a mocha shade. Depending on the colour of your hair, you can use a berry shade (which works well on brunettes) or a pale pink (which works well on blondes). Redheads look good with rosy pinks while people with black hair can use brighter reds (although that would not contrast well with your natural look).

As for the dark eye circles, you can try something like an at-home remedy. Cucumber slices on your eyes for 2-5 minutes really does work - the soothing juices will help reduce puffiness. Don't have any cucumber around? Potato slices work too! Or, try freezing a washcloth or two metal spoons in the freezer overnight and then applying them on your eyes for a few minutes in the morning to reduce the puffiness. Small amounts of Vitamin E oil can work, and getting enough sleep (at least 7 hours) will help with those dark eye circles. In the meantime, get a concealer that matches the shade of your neck (you should always match concealer, foundation, etc. to the shade of your neck as it is your true skin tone). Apply it and blend well. If you still notice the concealer, try applying your foundation and then seeing if it is so noticeable. Wear sunglasses when going outside during the sun's strongest point of the day - from 12 noon to 4 p.m.

    Best of luck to you!

    XOXO,

    Laurie
Good to hear your going for a more natural look =]

Wear a light foundation to make your skin tone even, and cover up your dark circles. Then wear a shadow close to your skin tone, and some brown mascara.

SOS Need Prom Makeup help..... Best Answerr..!!?

I need makeup help for prom. I have a blue dress for prom. I have hazel eyes...light brown skin and dark brown hair ....( I am pakistani). What color eye shadow and blush should i wear to both complement my eyes and dress. I've heard that I shouldn't wear the same eye shadow as the dress... so yea...(if you have a pic of a certain eye style i should use like smokey eye give me the link pretty please) Also...it would be extra great..if you reccommmmend me some products that are not too expensive that I can use for the make up....like covergirl..revlon...stuff like that...cuz cash is tight right now so I would appreciate the help!

And...if that wasn't enough..do you know anywhere in nyc taht has some sort of prom package..that will jujst do everything for u..lol..if worst comes to worst and I dont wanna do my own makeup..?

That's me in the dress...soo please help me!!!

you sound just like me lol dark hair, tan skin, hazel eyes, and im pakistani too:P lol oh i just noticed the pic, and your really pretty(:

haha anyways, umm, i would say for your eyes, one idea would be to wear a pale blue eyeshadow and then use liquid eyeliner, either black or navy blue and line your eyes, and wing the end out just a bit past the end of your eyes, put a little bit of shimmery white in the corners of your eyes too, makes them look brighter and either use lots of mascara(not clumpy) or even buy false lashes to make them longer. another idea would be still in the blues, but alot darker, for if you want more dramatic, use a navy eyeshadow, and dark midnight blue liner and smude it into your eyeshadow and line the bottom of your eyes with both the eyeshadow and eyeliner, and then the same with the mascara as before, or false lashes again. both those styles of eye makeup, ive got compliments on and we both have the same features. and as for the ';not wearing same colour as the dress'; , thats not true, as long as its either lighter or darker, it will look good. if you dont want to, golds and bronzes would look nice as well with black liquid liner.

i dont have a link to give you, but i think ive explained it pretty good(:. i also dont know specific products for you as i live in a small town in southern ontario in canada so i get most of my makeup from the drugstore too, but just look for makeup in the colours ive told you and you will be fine.

a blush that looks good on our skin is not true pink, a blush that looks good is a peachy pink colour, buy them in both cream blush and powder, blend the cream into the apples of your cheeks, then blend the powder along your cheekbones and use a semi-shimmery highlighter along the tops of your cheekbones. but sorry i dont know much about nyc...i hope i helped though and sorry its so long lol

  • Which type of makeup?!?!?! HELP!!!!!?

I like to wear makeup and i have a problem because i dont kno wat type of makeup to wear. I have dark eyes light brown hair and sort pale but not tan..... i like to wear eyeshadow, eyeliner (black),mascara, and lip gloss so can u help me oh and im in 7th grade!! grls help me!! o and btw im kinda into the brownish eyeshadow but not too darkWhich type of makeup?!?!?! HELP!!!!!?
Make sure your foundation or powder ( which ever you choose), is very close to the actual color of your complexion, so you don't have lines around your neck %26amp; face where your make up starts %26amp; stops. Brown eyecolor is a good warm color to start with, but not too dark on the eyeliner. Try a Dark brown eye peicil, for a eyeliner to start out with, and see if that isn't what your looking for. It may take some practice with the pencil @ first but it will get easier. You will want to stay with warm colors in the lip gloss also, if you stay with the brown eyecolor. No reds or Berry colors. Maybe a soft mocha color for the lips or a coral. To complete your look find a soft peach blush, or something a little darker, but not too dark.Which type of makeup?!?!?! HELP!!!!!?
Try the Almay Bring Out collection , its especially designed for specific color of eyes. So all the colors ( eyliner , shadow %26amp; mascara ) will brighten up and accentuate your eyes beautifully , basically its no fail makeup! You wont look too done up , everything will put together just right. check out the link below! hope you like %26amp; good luck on your first day back at school%26lt;3

ps. Try Rimmel Lip Gloss , its cheap %26amp; stays on nicely too.
You might want to go to the make up counter and test colors out- see what goes best with your skin, the girls will help you with questions on colors and what would look best on you for your age. I think that black eye liner is too harsh, you might try a brownish-black. you can also go to you tube and write in makeup- they have a lot of great pointers.

    I need skin/makeup help?

I'm sixteen and I am going back to highschool after one year of homeschool. I have sensitive skin that breaks out easily(especially during ';that time of the month';). I have powder makeup that works really good but I can't use it everyday because I don't want to break out more. I wash my face regularly with only a few pimples at a time with acne scars. So heres my question, I heard about the neutrogena cover up and heard that it would not clog my skin or cause blemishes. I was wondering if it was worth my money. If you have any other brands feel free to say. I'm not willing to spend tons of money on coverup. Could you please be specific about foundation, loose powder, and pressed powder. Thanks to those who answer and 10 points to the best answer.I need skin/makeup help?
i have the same problem. my skin is very acne prone so i use the covergirl clean make up. i get the foundation and the compact pressed powder of the clean make up. when you first use it, it may feel weird because it doesn't contain any oil, since that would make acne worse. but i love it. it's also very cheap...like $5 in walmart! =) also, remember to use an oil-free moisturizer on your face before you put your make up on.I need skin/makeup help?
I used to have bad acne and scars then i bought Bareminerals its a little expensive but its worth it. My skin is clear and soft now, i love it. It doesnt clog your pores at all, other liquid foundations do. But Bareminerals is real good. Go to Sephora and try it they'll do your makeup for you cause Bareminerals doesn't always work for everyone.

    Any tips? Thank you! (:

Also, I have undertones, I don't wear foundation nor powder andI have a speck of amber in my eyes. (:Back to school makeup help?
well for school i don't think you should put a lot of makeup on. just make sure to use a good face moisturizer, and maybe put on some charcoal or brownish eyeliner, because it goes well with brown eyes. make sure not to make it too heavy (put on upper and lower part of eye.) maybe some light mascara on both lower and upper eyelashes. you could occasionally do some shimmery eyeshadow, or a color slightly darker then your skin tone. and to finish it of some clear gloss, or one with a pinkish hue to it. hope i helped =)

(but seriously dont wear a lot of make up to school, all i do is gloss and sometimes eyeliner. i just mainly make sure i dont have dry skin. besides i have a lot more to think about than makeup before school, like wether i have all my stuff!)Back to school makeup help?
Ok, I'm going i nto eigth grade and I had the same probs as you do a little over a year ago. Soooo I begged and begged my mom to let me go makeup shopping and she did. So here are some tips. Go with no foundation since you don't need it, but if you must go with a cover up that matches your skin tone. Try to get some muted tones of eyeshadow nothing drastic like bright purple. Never go with dark pink lip gloss for you clear or light pink will work. Get waterproof mascara and a little blush. It always works best when you go to a makeup counter and ask the woman to pick out some makeup that will work for you.
Umm. Im not trying to be rude, but you might want to buy a hairbrush and a striagtener. If you took better care of your hair, it would look healthy and fresh. I only say this because in all the pics, your hair looks like it ent through a tornado. But if you are set on makeup, just put a liitle mascara on an then some bronzer, but you are too young.
    heyy abby!

i would put some soft pink lipgloos on and a light tone of blush or cheek stain. then i would put black mascara on the top line of your eyes and some blue eyshadow on your eyes. but other than that you are beautiful with out make up!

    p.s. arent u abby martinez
You should put a tiny bit of black or brown eyeliner a bit above your top lashes a little mascara and clear or light pink lip gloss if you want a little blush that's okay. Put natural colors on like light pink or light pinkish brown.
Your to young to wear make up but you can use blush and lip gloss clear mascara and a little eyeliner but you should be thinking about school more than your looks.
well i think your a little young but if you want too start wearing make up try some bronzer instead of foundation, eye liner not too heavy, maybe a little eyeshadow, and lipgloss
dont start wearing make up in seven grade u will ruin your skin i know alot of people wear make up but your pretty but if your really want to wear mascara and eyeliner and lipgloss
quit posting pics on the net.

A deep forest green is an ideal eyeliner shade. This can make your eye stand out or you can use purple.Since it going to be a school look go for a natural look.

you get the ideas of neutral colors

heres how you highlight your cheek for a natural look like the super model Hedi Klum

Step 1: Use a small tapered blush brush to sweep a mauve or tawny blush from the apples of your cheeks up toward your hairline.

Step 2: To make the hollows of your cheek look deeper, sweep a sheer bronzer directly under the blush. You can also make a ';fish face'; and place the bronzer in the center of the area that's sucked in.

Step 3: Dust a shimmery nude highlighter along the tops of your cheekbones.

Step 4: Blend, blend, blend! Use a clean blush brush to blend the outer edges of all the makeup so that the effect gradually fades away.

    heres some colors:

You could actually just upload your picture onto Taaz.com and try on different eyeshadows that you would think may look best on you. There is a whole bunch of different colors and makeup options to choose from, plus its free. At least that is what I did when I wanted a new hairstyle! Report Abuse

Go with colours that are natural like peach if you have pinkish skin, and bronze if you're a little brown. If you're feeling daring, get metallic, shimmery (but not sparkly!) shades.

Darker eyeshadow on the crease of your lid and outer corners of your eye. Lighter shade on your brow bone below your eyebrows and at the inner corner of your eye then blend so that you don't have lines.

This simple regime takes about no time at all so you can sleep in a little more before school. ;)

even though you say u dont use eyeliner or mascara i would say to use eyeliner and put a THIN line on the top of your eye . rite above your lashes . and use it on the bottem too . it will make your eyes pop out ! and do make your lips look full and pretty use a lil liner around your lips and use a gorgeous color to match what you are wearing ;] and for your face you should use base thats your color so that its not too dark and not too light .
Try using a shimmery white shadow in your inner corners to bring light to them. This brightens up your whole face.

I really like using blue eyeshadow for brown eyes. Something about it just makes them really pretty.

To highlight cheekbones, dab and pale shimmery pink color on the tops of them. Another way to to dab a clear lipgloss on them so that light attracts to them and makes them more prominent and look higher.

you sound pretty without. but maybe a glittery eyeshadow or liguid eyeliner on the top mayabe a pencil eyeliner on the bottom.
    Go look on youtube.

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?鈥?/a> :]
You do indeed sound very pretty! =]

A light/pale blue would look cute. And some nude gloss. 8D

I don't watch the show..but highlighting the cheeks just means having added shine and things ;D

i have pretty big lips too my tip is not to wear too much lip gloss or anything shiny because it makes them look like the focal point a nd thats not always a good thing.,..
try out this site www.taaz.com It is a free online virtual makeover site and it works sooo well i LOVE it:) It really helped me get good at doing different styles of makeup. Have fun:)

  • Need hair and makeup help! Advice please!?

My boyfriend and I are celebrating our 2 year anniversay and I need hair help! I'm not really proficient with styling hair. Come to think of it, the only thing I know how to do with my hair is straighten it. I've tried to curl it and it never works out. I don't need anything super fancy but just something different that looks nice.

    I'm 21, so I'm looking for something in-style.

Also, if anyone has any makeup tips, those would be appreciated as well. I'm very pale so I find it hard to find makeup that works for me.

I've given a link to my picture so everyone can see what I'm trying to work with.

    http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii292…

Thanks!Need hair and makeup help! Advice please!?
You already have a lot to work with. Don't know the time frame you're working with ... but for the hair ... go for a good cut (couple of inches). Fringie bangs that can be swept over to the side and soft layers around your face. If you're time doesn't allow for a cut, go for an easy up-do. Use a curling iron to add some curl to the bottom. Then pull back to a pony tail, twirl the tail and pin to the back of your head with a cute clip. Let some hair hang around your face by pulling some strands out after you've pulled it up. Real easy to do.

For make up, go for a light sheer foundation to even out skin tone. Then apply a pinkish blush to the apples of your cheeks. Make sure it blended well so you don't have ';clown'; spots. Line your eyes with brown liner-pencil and smudge it to soften the look. To finish use a sheer cherry red tint (benefit is good) with a nice gloss to add sheen.

If you're going more dressy, try a deep greenish shadow, just on the lids. Blend it in with you finger so it's just a hint of color. Try to keep it darker at the outer corners of your eyes. And you can try liquid liner which can be more dramatic but it all depends on your plans.

Hope you have a great time!Need hair and makeup help! Advice please!?
Wow love the eyes, David Bowie has different coloured eyes, I think it's a cool thing to have!

Well you are pretty first of all so you don't need to pile on the make up. I think you should get a long side fringe and some layers, it would make you look even more gorgeous.

Congrats to you and your boyfriend :-)

    Answer my q pls!

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;…
For the face --%26gt; Well you do have very light skin, so I'd suggest either spray tanning (only because I'm guessing bed tanning probably doesn't do much for you unless you keep up with it for a while), or buying a good bronzer (MAC has the best in my opinion). **With spray tanning though, make sure you tan on the lowest level they have so It's not such a dramatic change** As for the makeup, I suggest going light on that if you're going to focus on being tanner. Definetely mascara to make your eyes pop...make sure to curl the lashes too...and very light brown eyeliner on the top lashes on the eyelid only.

For the hair --%26gt; Not sure if you are looking to cut it or not, but if you are willing to, I always give my 29-25 year old clients some long bangs...just to have a layer in there. It will make your hair look fuller. Also, just by parting your hair to a different side alone can make you look a little different (in a good way of course!) and it will definetely give you a new look without it looking like you had a huge makeover.

Good luck with everything, happy anniversary!
Okay, wash it blow dry it pin straight art the hair to one side use a serum r glossing mist, then flip the ends with the curlers so they frame your face
Awww congrats. My bf and I are celebrating our 2 yrs on March 25th! anyways, I think you should get some bangs, some thing that is about 2-3 iches shorter with layers. Maybe some thin bright blonde streaks scattered throughtout. Hope this helps!
whoa! your eyes are like way different colors!!! lol

but your still really pretty! =D

    I need some makeup help?

ok, so i have major concerns with covering up dark spots on my face, one in particular is a birthmark and it's kinda dark. I currently use Maybelline dream matte mousse(caramel, dark 2) i bought a dream matte powder, which is latte(0-1 dark). i know that doesn't match, but i put on the powder first, and then the mousse(i know that's not the right order). then, i get my lip liner(medium brown) and color around my birthmark to make it blend. it's very tedious and i feel like i'm wasting a lot of the liner. which appears fine to me, no really notices this. i went to buy some other makeup, and this clinique lady did a little makeup tutorial for me, and she told me i had on too many things that actually make my birthmark more noticeable. she cleaned off my makeup around my chin and upper lip, and applied perfectly real, which blended well with my skin tone. i liked it. and now i'm still using my old makeup, a very little of perfectly real. the problem is, when i come home from school i look in the mirror and my face looks shiny and oily.I need some makeup help?
You're putting way too many things on your face.

Use blackhead elimination pads only at night. It shouldn't be taking you 30 minutes to wash your face.

I would recommend using a new face wash, try Mary Kay Velocity. It works wonders, gets rid of excess oil, although you have to buy it online.

Right after washing your face, put on all the creams and stuff.

With all the stuff you are putting on your face you should be waiting about 20 minutes to put any powder/ foundation on.

You can get dressed before putting make up on, or put any eye make up on, or eat breakfast.

Also, by putting all these layers of sunscreen and creams are probably causing your make up to run. I would try to find a powder/foundation that has sunscreen in it.

And carry blotting pads around with you!

Before you apply your make up you should make sure all your creams and lotions have sunk in, and then wipe your face with a tissue.

    Ok need some makeup help?

I wanted to know if bronzer can be used instead of foundation. I do have blemishes though, if i put on concealer before would that help the bronzer make it look less visible. And what is the purpose of translucent pressed powder? when should i use it in this sequence

thank you for your helpOk need some makeup help?
Bronzer can't be used ';in place'; of foundation. The purpose of foundation is to even out skin tone. I have tried using bronzer without foundation underneath before and my skin tone looked blotchy and uneven, even dirty. I can't tell you how your skin would look, you did mention you had blemishes, if that is your only skin problem then you should be able to get away with only wearing bronzer with concealer underneath. Bronzer is not really a coverup, but it will help camoflage somewhat. It all depends on what your skin is like. Me personally I could not get away with not wearing foundation and then applying bronzer b/c my cheeks are red and blotchy, this is too big an area to wear concealer over, and the foundation gives just enough coverage.

The purpose of translucent pressed powder is to ';set'; your makeup and get rid of oil and shine. Settting your makeup means it helps it stay and keeps it from slidding all around your face. I use powder under my eyes and on my chin. I use it under my eyes so my eyemakeup doesn't run and on my chin b/c it tends to look oily. Wear it wherever you see appropriate for your skin. I used to never wear it and now I can't see how I live without it. The translucent part means that it is just that, basically it has no visible color once applied.

If I were you I would first apply the concealer, then the powder, then the bronzer. This is how I do it.

A good way to make sure that your makeup looks good is to BLEND BLEND BLEND, especially around the chin and jawline. Also take it easy on the bronzer, too much makes ppl look like fake umpa loompas, lol.Ok need some makeup help?
yes putting conceler on first will help with the blemishes and thr bronzer should be ok but i would use the translucant powder with the bronzer but you can use the powder with foundation. just experiment with it to see which you like best.

Hope i was some help and have a happy new year
I always apply translucent powde..it conceals, but doesn't look fake, apply bronzer lightly over that...or mix a liquid bronzer w/ lotion for a very natural tan for your face. and by the way, i agree... people shouldn't drown themselves in makeup!
I would add the powder first ... it will give the bronzer something to hold on to and won't go on blotchy. Only use the bronzer on spots where the sun naturally hits you ... cheekbones, temples, nose and chin.
The pressed power is better used as a foundation by taking a cotton ball or tissue and apply like normal (the applicators that come with them hold on to the powder) as for the bronzer you can wear it when ever but your blemishes will show with out concealer
Concealer usually changes the shace of the spot. Bronzer will not usually cover that. You could try....but.....

I cover spots first with a greenish concealer then use a little mineral makeup and bronzer. I even put the bronzer on my eyelids. Makes a quick makeover.

Try some samples from LAminerals. They are like $1 and ship em free. Thats what I use. Love the stuff, can't live without it!

    Should I use makeup? Help!?

    http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cf…Should I use makeup? Help!?
Your skin is absolutely flawless so you don't need foundation or concealer. If your skin gets oil buy some excess oil wipes (can be found at shoppers). To bring out your eyes more you can wear mascara-you won't look like a clown. You can try eyeliner too but it's tricky and your eyes are nice enough without it. For your lips you can get something with a subtle pinkish peach color with a hont of shine. Good luck! ^^Should I use makeup? Help!?
let me get this thing clear: You look beautiful without makeup, if you start using makeup everyday you'll have to use it everyday with no exception or your friends will believe your sick because you look so much more different without makeup, now if I were you I would use makeup just because everyone else do it but i would only use for my eyebrows and eyelashes.
your really pretty without makeup but i do think if you used eyemakeup i would make your eyes really pretty i absolutely LOVE brown eyes. your skin is GORJUS dont worry about it unless it gets oily then use a mineral powder. for yours eyes try a purple shadow or just a black eyeliner.
yOUR REALLY REALLY PRETTY WITHOUT MAKE-UP.. I DONT THINK YOU NEED MAKEUP YUOUR A NATURAL BEUATY =D IM JELOUS!! =[ BUT IF YOU THINK YOU NEED MAKEUP OR NEED MAKEUP TO FEEL PRETTY. JUST USE A LITTLE EYELINER ON THE BOTTOM OR EYE THE *WATER LINE* JUST USE A LITTLE DARK BROWN OR BLACKK ON THE BOTTOM NOT TO DARK ND ON THE TOP OR HTE INNER EYELASSH PART HONESTLY IDK WHAT ITS CALLED. MASSCARRA ON THE TOP LASSHES DONT FORGET HTE BOTTOM. AND A LIL LIP GLOSS AND CALL IT ';KiLL'; =]

PS; IM SO jELOUS OF YOU..YOUR PRETTY WITHOUT MAKEUP.. UGHH.
    Your really pretty

You don't need any kind of foundation cos your skin is really good, its like perfect.

Maybe just a bit of mascara/eyeliner and some lip-gloss. But other than that you don't really need make-up! =]
same here, except i feel like i look like m. jackson lol

just use bronzer and a great volumizing black mascara, w. an eyelaash curler thats all you need!!! concealer for blemishes and a plumping light colored lip gloss!!!

You're beautiful as you are but a little accentuating can always help. I think you should try a light pink lip gloss with a single silver shade %26amp; mascara. It's simple to do but looks perty.
    u should wear makeup

maybe some eyeliner on ur top eyelids and def. some mascara

if u look like a clown, then just dont put on as much

u dont need blush or bronzer

get some lip gloss and eyeliner and mascara

    and that should do it
theyre both cute but i like the second one more

    No, I don't think you're too young

..You work in a makeup store,

    Therefore should be wearing makeup.

    Just don't go too overboard.

    And look your age.

Keep it simple.ToO young For MAkeup!?? Help Anwser plz?!!?
No i don't think you are too young for make up because i started about the same age as you and so long you feel comfortable in makeup it does not matter what people think or say about you because sooner or later they will have to accept it.

Because for me people talked about me using make-up i didn't care as long as i felt comforted and happy in it, it didn't matter
I don't think your too young, I started when i was 13. Only because i had really bad skin (acne) i hated it. I got really paranoid and i would refuse to leave home without it. I'm 15, nearly 16 and i still wear it.

If you feel comfortable without make-up you should not wear it, but if you get paranoid about what you look like then you should wear it.
    Mild tasteful application is good.

Wear too much and people may think that your older.

If they think that you are older they will expect more from you.

Less is always more with cosmetics....

but very happy to hear that you do the cleanse thing...

    your already ahead of most

18- 26 rs olds! in that area!
i were make up and im 14 ...........it makes me feel confident ..........i have bad skin and a bit of conceler and foundation never hurt .........during the summer use a tinted mosturiser to look more natural ...............only go full out for special occasions..........if no 1 has a problem wit it then gd luck
you what...work at a napoleon perdis store?! how is it that a 14 yr can work at a napoleon perdis store?!! lol?

I did my training at thier academy in melbourne, but I live two hours rom melb so I couldnt really have a job there.

%26amp; no...I don't think you wear too much make-up...i've seen worse on 12 yr olds. But you dont need make-up yet...let your skin breathe until your at least 16.
Your eyeliner is too heavy to only be 14.

However, you are a very pretty girl naturally.
no, just dont put too much
nah not really. but u really dont need it anyway!
I'm glad that you are honestly wondering this, because a lot of girls at younger and younger ages are wearing foolish clothes and applying intense amounts of make up everyday.

Now for you, at your age and from what you look like in the pictures. You do look young and you have great skin! I mention your skin because, its clear, and it has a great tone and I find that a lot of people with nice olive or naturally tan skin tones look great without make up or with minimal.

For you if i were to apply anything on an every day basis I would apply mascara and that would honestly be it. Making sure your eyebrows are nicely kept and that your skin stays clear is all that you need.

I myself don't wear a lot of make up, I'm finishing my last years at university, and I'm a fashionable chick getting my business degree. I've always considered myself to be attractive, and I think that people feel this when they see me. Its not the make up that I wear that people notice, its the confidence that i exude.

So honestly a little bit goes a long way, and especailly when you're young. You'd hate to look back and see foolish pictures of yourself looking like a baby with a mask on, so keep it natural and really play up your assets! And honestly people who are truly beautiful know it comes from the inside, and comes with being sure of yourself.

    12 year old makeup help!!?

So, my little sister in 12 (almost 13) and well, she has mild acne and stuff. All of her friends and girls in her grade (7th) are starting to wear makeup.. She asked if she could borrow some of mine, but I didn't want to just give her my whole makeup bag... I don't know what to do...I feel really bad, she's so self conscious about her acne, she says boys wont like her, etc. She also wants to use mascara and eyeshadow..... %26gt;.%26lt; I was thinking I could give her SOMETHING, but I don't know....

    HELP!!

    tEo12 year old makeup help!!?
Just give her the mascara and eyeshadow don't give her your whole bag. Also try to let her know that she is beautiful with or without makeup!!

Good luck!12 year old makeup help!!?
maybe you should help her and teach her how to put it on andstuff..not too much when i was in 7th grade we always that the girls who wore too much make up looked really bad...just tell her to make it look natural!
Three words: less is more! Tell your sister to not wear make up if she has acne cause if she puts makeup on it, it could get worse. Let the face be naked(naked as in no make up at all) until the acne has gone(by using things stated above) and when it has, just put on blush and mascara. For the eyes, use peachy colors and for the lips just use a colorless lip gloss. trust me, it will look very flattering on her. That is how i wear my makeup and I love it! Wearing loads of makeup at a young age is wrong. Just a little will look GORGEOUS. When at special occasions though, use eye shadow colors that are nice and bright and the lip gloss could be glittery and add the pale pink blush with that, too. Don't forget the mascara. Err, I'll have to say no to eye liner though.
Well, I think it would be weird if al of a sudden a person wears makeup. I remember that when I was 12 (not too long ago) I rarely wore makeup and I still rarely do now.

Yes! For sure use mascara. Maybelline New York Black maybe? Dark mascaras tend to compliment eyes so that would be nice. And my fav colour of eyeshadow is light blue (a bit on the little eyelid) so, that's not too much makeup. I honestly think that people shouldn't wear lots of makeup because it just makes you look self-consious.
Well im also 12 and i love makeup! I know how she feels. when i first started wearing makeup, my mom made me start out with light shades. Try to visit Walmart and look for light pinks and purples. Also, grab some lip-gloss(every 12 year old girl loves lip gloss)
I would recommend mineral foundation which contains zinc which will help to calm down the spots and redness I natural eyeshadow should do the trick with one shade darker on the crease ot give depth
Fo my acne I use this stuff call OXY. Itcomes in a black box with red lables. (not the blue one). This stuff works really well and will clear it up for sure. the stuff costs about $5 in Canada
i think 12 years old is a little too young to wear makeup. (great, thanks mom) i mean when i was in 7th, i only wore a little eyeliner on my inner bottom lids. i think mascara is fine. i remember when i asked my sister to borrow her makeup, she didnt give me any! ha but now that im 15, she gives me her lip gloss, lipstick or mascara that she doesnt use.
tell ur sister that if she has acne only use mascara or eyeshadow. NEVER put cover up over the acne. If u let ur sister use makeup first show her how to put it on and give her some helpful tips!

    Good luck!
no,no, no. makeup will just make her acne worse. give her a bubblegum pink lipgloss tho. =)
Give her some blush or foundation to cover the acne, if its ok with you mom go out to walmart and buy some makeup like foundation (powder) and mascara that all a girl that age really needs.
I started out by wearing tinted moisturizers. I looks like a light foundation, but it keeps skin hydrated so it will help prevent breakouts. Once you start using foundation on acne proned skin, it gets worse.
    spot cream and comcealer
show her how to use some eyeliner, but explain to her about moderation with it and cover up too

show her how to wash her face properly and maybe ask your mom to buy one of those creams that help get rid of acne after it forms

also what do you think of the dress?

    xxxProm Hair and Makeup help!?
    lovely dress.

What i did for my school leavers ball was book an appointment for hairdresser. for about 2-3 hours before you want to leave for prom (and wear a top with buttons down the front so you dont ruin your hair when getting changed) Look up pictures in magazines and websites for the hairdo you really like and take it with you to the hairdresser.

As for the make-up part, i'm useless, sorry, try and find out if a friend of a friend or family member is cosmetically skilled and get them to do it. otherwise, i'd go with the classic liquid eyeliner with the little flick at the edges of your eyes.Prom Hair and Makeup help!?
Go for deep green eyeshadow (especially if your hair is dark) as purple and green go well together =) If you're really pale or blonde you may wanna choose a paler green. As for your hair, I'd do it similarly to the model in the pic but include a large pretty silver clip =) Wear gloss, either clear or purple tinted. Have fun!

Oh and the dress is very pretty =)
The dress looks really hot! love it!

about the makeup, you can go with a golden shade for example, or a nice green. for my sisters prom, we've used some tips from here:

    I need drugstore makeup help?

I have been looking for that just right foundation, heres the thing my skin is a mixture of oily and dry, I break out really easily and I'm on a budget. I've used Almay Skin Stays Clear (but I ran out) then I used Neutrogena foundation in #10, which worked well but now it's too light for summer and it made my skin look a tad oily, then I was using a Jane foundation but it TOTALLY broke me out.

I obviously need some help here, so what is the best drugstore foundation? I need it to be under 10 dollars... so what is it?I need drugstore makeup help?
    well i was gona suggest almay clear complexion foundation i have the same symptoms as u i have oily skin plus a few blemishes but skin becomes very dry at the same time and i breakout from using many brands but i luv almay clear complexion foundation whihc wors wonder it gets rid off the oil gives me full coverage that i need lasts klogn and doesnt become oily or doesn fade in the ehat i luv this foundation and it never broke me out it is dermatologist tested and is non-comdengic (or wont clog ur pores) heres a link if u need but i havnt tried the skin stays clear one ;

if u want another brand i also suggest trying maybelline dream matte mousse foundation and before buying it i checked the website and it said it wont clog pores and i use it and i enevr broke out and thats also dermatologist tested so if u dont wanna buy another almay product try this foundations works amazingly hope this helpsI need drugstore makeup help?
Foundation is something that you should definitely NOT scrimp on. Foundation is the thing that you put directly onto your skin -- do you really want it to be of low quality? I would suggest going to an actual cosmetic store and buying a foundation of high quality, which will last you a long time and be less damaging to your skin. The price really isn't that bad -- spending an extra 10 or 20 dollars won't kill you, and it may do wonders for your skin and appearance.

I suggest Dior, or at least a store-brand like MAC or Sephora.

    Good luck, hope I helped,

    Jackie
Covergirl ';Clean'; makeup -- it's made for those that break out and have issues with oily skin. Also, it doesn't clog pores. It retails for around $5-6.

i think u should trim your hair a little, add some layers and side swept bangs... dye your hair a dark brown with carmel highlights.

    goodluck!
With your light skin, gold eyeshadow and gold-tinted blush would look great, and so would pink rosy blush. For your lips, a reddish color with orange undertones would also look good.

I love your hair exactly the way it is. The length complements your face shape. Keep the color, and just add some honey highlights.

    Good luck!

    Pageant Hair and Makeup!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

My daughter is 5 years old and wants to do a pageant this would be her first one. She is so excited but after seeing some on T.V. she wants her hair and makeup done . I am good at my own but am at a loss as to what to do with hers. Which makeup, which extensions and so forth and so on. I do not know anyone whod does either so I am looking for someone to be able to either help me do it ($$$) or somewhere in our area that does this, like a certain salon or whatever. By the way we live around the Cincinnati , Northern Kentucky area. Also if you are a pageant mom or previous pageant mom and know how to do this yourself and have the supplies needed that work also. HELP!!!Pageant Hair and Makeup!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
i would enter a smaller contest and try your best to do it yourself, as a mother daughter thing. ask for the cards of the makeupartists and trainers there

you want to make sure that she'll actually want to do it before you invest too much money in everything like extensions, flippers, costumes, etc.

i wouldn't get in too deep at first. i don't think that a MAC makeupartist at the mall would have the best preparation to do pagent. there are plenty of resourses out there to help you.

best of luck to your little girlPageant Hair and Makeup!!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
put just a little makeup on her. curl her hair. don't over-do it. that's just horrible. she'll feel like she's getting all done up. but natural is much better. i hate moms who do that to their daughters
    oh god a pageant mom..
