I need some makeup help? pictures included. ?

I'm 14 I have ok combination skin ( I have a couple of scars from acne and pimples when its my time of the month but nothing out of control) I am going to Wal-Mart soon to pick up some makeup items before school starts and I need to know how much is suitable for a 14 year old in Grade 9. Here is the link for a picture of me :-) http://photo.xanga.com/Blue_skies28/cdd67208655129/photo.html

I have a skintone that's beige-ish lol big brown eyes( they look black in the picture but they are brown) with nice long full lashes so I don't need any mascara. I want my make-up too look natural and make sure it doesn't take forever.I don't need foundation but I want nice coverage whenever I have a pimple or something. So any recommendations? Try to make sure it isn't tested on animals ( Physician's Formula and Revlon don't test on animals :-) )I need some makeup help? pictures included. ?
I have really long lashes too, but I wear a small amount of mascara just to keep them in order. I suggest a little bit of eyeliner, a bit of mascara, and if you're going to wear eyeshadow, apply it very lightly. Don't wear lipstick, but maybe a clear lipgloss. it's natural. I hope I've helped!!

**if you wear foundation, just get one in your skintone and don't wear too much. just a small sweep around your face will do the trick. To cover up acne scars, apply a little concealer onto the spots before your foundation.I need some makeup help? pictures included. ?
Well id still say wear mascara, because itll make your eyes look even prettier.

Id go with physcians formula mineral powder.

And a light blush is a must have, its gives a pretty flushed look.

And a clear lip gloss.

Itll take maybe five minutes in the mornig and youll look gorgeous,

although you really dont need any of that stuff.
I don't know what to tell you about going to Wal-Mart. I use BareMinerals, which you can get from Sephora. It's great coverage, looks totally natural, and isn't tested on animals.
I think you look great as is!!!

But I also think you would look good with some eyeliner/smokey eye effect, and maybe a little blush and a pale/neutral lipstick (Like not enough to really add colour to your lips, just to define them more (your shape is good!)
ok use the make-up you suggested

and get a good concealer and loose powder and pressed powder

lightly dab concealer on any pimples you get and set it with the loose powder bring the pressed powder to keep oil under control
I say some powder for your face something to control oil and a simple lip gloss that has SPF in it maybe a nice nude color with a little bit of pink in it also clear mascara to make your eyelashes shiny.
well they sell eye shadow that is customized to your eye color which is a good thing to get, also lip gloss. i am also 14 and i never wear very much makeup.. just a little is necessary.

hope this helps =]
well you dont need much make-up maybe just a light pink gloss some netragina fondation and a light blush and the foundation would probubly help with covering a pimple so thats about all you will need

you should put on some eyeliner cuz it will make ur eyes pop out. some mascara it looks good and an eyeshadow whichlooks good w/ ur outfit.
First of all your really very pretty. I would defintly recommend some eye shadow. By the way I'm really glad you dont want to have your make up tested on animals. GO ANIMAL RIGHTS LOL :-)
conceler, mascara and some blush!
ok put mascara and eye liner
put makeup on from animal free stores
Maybe wear some eyeshadow? Colour to match what your wearing

With a tint of blusher?

hmm, you need some eyeliner, mascara and some brown eye shadow.

not dark brown, just brown enough to match your skin tone pretty good. it'll look natural and add a little sparkle to it. you might wanna get some coverup, since you said you had zits.

and you might wanna get some exfoliating face wash or just antibacterial soap, and the neutrogena wave works, but you have to use it every night.

you just need to make sure to wash your face every day, with the wave and antibacterial soap or exfoliating scrub would be great. you need to prevent your pores from getting clogged. good nights sleep is very important too. if you can't afford the wave just gett the soap.

your welcome!
Well u have deeper set eyes so u dont need much eyeliner if u want just quickly sweep a eyeliner (dark brown or black) on your lower lid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlQfJE14W… (focus on where shes putting the eyeliner

for coverup id use revlon custom creators so you can set the skin tone your self and even mix two heres a pic http://image.bizrate.com/resize?sq=160%26amp;u…

remember before and after applying any make up to use a oil free moisturizer to prevent future breakouts

lip gloss thats like a light pinky maroon

hope this helped xoxo

Need hairstyle and makeup help?

my 23rd birthday in a little over a month and a half. we booked a venue yesterday (nightclub) and i need to look amazing cuz the kid from my work that i like is gunna be there. any suggestions for how to do my hair and makeup? i want bold yet classy (aka no raccoon eyes or bright red lipstick)

my outfit: turquoise and gold low cut shirt, dark fitted jeans, chocolate brown and gold 5 inch wedge heels, gold and diamond dangly earrings, turquoise, gold and black bangle and a gold ring

hair: is naturally straight and to my shoulder blades, dark brown with blunt bangs right above my eyes

i have dark green eyes and tan skin...please help!!

i cant wear my hair down and straight cuz it will frizz and get ratty looking when im dancing. i need to look SMOKING hot ;) thanks in advanceNeed hairstyle and makeup help?
for your hair... take about four inches of the piece of hair right behind your bangs and pull it back to the center of the back of your head and pin the ends. keep bringing back pieces and pinning the ends for a very sexy, but classy look. for your make up... i would go with some dark brown eyeliner. you put it on the bottom just on your lash line but make sure to get the entirety of your bottom eye because the halfway thing only makes you look weird and your eyes smaller... so put a very very very thin line of your brown eyeliner on your top lid and then take a sponge or smudging tip and go side to side making the eyeliner a little more visible, lighter, and sexier... then take a gold shimmery color and use it to smoke your eyes. start at the inner corner of your eye and sweep across side to side moving up every time. then take a darker color and shade in the crease of your eye to make your eyes POP if you want you can highlight your eyes with a turquoise shaddow. use a black mascara and eyelash curler... you can even use fake lashes if you really want to for an extra POP. for your lips i would use a very light lip stain or gloss... just keep blotting your lips after application until the color is only a little darker than your natural lip color. then spread a clear gloss over it.Need hairstyle and makeup help?

if ur just gunna say dont wear ANY makeup then dont answer...thanksNeed natural looking makeup help?
I am going to tell you what I think the best products for this are.

Lancome Photogenic concealer. It adjusts light to make the skin look better. It's about $25 now I think, but it can last for several months because a little goes a long way. Apply it under your eyes with a concealer brush for the best coverage. You can also apply with a cosmetic sponge but the coverage will be a little less.

Then apply Neutrogena Healthy Skin Glow Sheers foundation all over your face, even your eyes. It is good for the skin (It feels like a moisturizer), and it creates a great healthy looking glow. Apply the foundation with a cosmetic sponge, using a new sponge each application. You can get like 30 of them in a pack at a dollar store for a dollar.

For your eyes use a feathery mascara like Loreal Feather Lash. Also, get a pearlescent eyeshadow shade that nearly matches the shade of your skin, just slightly lighter. It's easiest to use an eyeshadow pencil, but you can use a powder shadow and an eyeshadow brush. Put a dab of the pearlescent shadow on the inner corners of the eyes and blend with your finger tip. Then draw a line with the shadow directly against the underneath of the brows that extends from the outer corners of the brows to about 1/3 the way inward. Blend that line with you fingertip also. The purpose of this is too make it look like light is hitting your eyes and to make them look more radiant.

On your lips just use a lip balm, something like Chapstick or Burt's Bees will be fine.

If you want blush too, try Pinch Me gel blush by Revlon. It looks a bit bright in the bottle but is actually sheer on the skin and gives the cheeks that look of being slightly naturally flushed. I use the cherry color.

Those products should give you the look you are going for.Need natural looking makeup help?
well honestly babe...being natural is pure elegance...i don't really know how many agree with me...but u want to go natural...u shld have a nice skin tone and condition...if you have an uneven skintone and you have alot of zits..i advise you not to do so...

for me i do go natural all the times except dates and special outings and occasions...the perfect nude look would be like just a 2 way cake you can try ZA they have 2 kinds to suit super different skin types..its super light weight and you wouldnt even feel its there....you won't need any blottes either as it doesn't turn oily after oxidising..then try mary kate and ashley bronzer by revlon (i think if i don't get it mixes up) then just a slight super hydrating lip balm with gloss...colours should stay remain in the brown range...also aply hilighter on your cheekbones and noseline (top) to define your looks (dUh~) you can try elizabeth arden's hilighter its good too...

for your blemishes..try blemish range by Elizabeth arden its good...my fren from aussie try it and it does works...

for your eyes..you should refrein from wearing eyeliners on ur under eyes and mascara on the undereye too...
Bare Escentuals

its like magic

some pretty golds and browns natural eyeshadows light mascara and your set

some chapstick too
Lil Patch, my skin care and make up come from aularale.com/7002. It's all done w/the needs of people with sensitive skin in mind. They have cover sticks and an eye cream that works on darkness and puffiness around the eye area called xtra performance eye cream. It is fantastic! And the foundation matches your skin so you can't help but look natural. Of course the getting enough rest/sleep goes w/o saying and also drinking lots of water. A good vitamin/mineral supplement wouldn't hurt either.
If you want to go for the 'natural' look then don't WEAR any make up. Otherwise it's not natural. Well you can wear clear mascara or just a bit of black mascara and some lip gloss and maybe a tiny bit of powder/concealer but that's it. No lip liner or eye liner. Also wash your face every morning and night. Wash away any mascara and moisturize every morning. Always eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and drink plenty of water. Exercise helps too. Spend at least an hour or so outside every day. Don't smoke or drink. No drugs.
maybelline is really good for natural looking makeup. go to a makeup artist in a mall near you, they can really help you for free. Or, just get some concealer to put under your eyes, and get some lightweight foundation. maybe a little powder to prevent shine. and then just some light but pretty shadows for your eyes. watch makeup videos on youtube or something for guides and ideas.

hope you find a good look!
Usually, having neat, well-kept eyebrows and an even complexion (good skin) will open up your entire face and bring out that gorgeous natural beauty. However, that does not mean that you shouldn't wear any makeup at all...it just means to really focus on features that will make you look beautiful - a little more naturally!

Use a moisturizing foundation to start. If you're concerned about using foundation, just get a tinted moisturizer (but a good brand so that your skin isn't tinted orange!). Blend it well and if you want to make it look even more natural, apply a thin layer of pressed powder on top. Use blush in a natural tone - soft pinks, light beige/brown and even a pale peach will work great, and the peach will contrast well with your green eyes. Never apply blush below your cheekbones, but just dust it across the apples of your cheeks and up slightly towards your temples. Use a big brush (the small ones that come with the blush hardly ever work) and use a circular motion to apply it. If you find that blush does not help with your natural look, bronzer looks more natural on some people. Apply it as you would apply blush, and then dust a small amount along your jawbones and forehead for an all-around glow.

As for your eyes, steer towards more natural tones like brown and charcoal grey, as black can be too harsh for a natural look. Using white liner will open up your eyes tremendously! With eyeliner, line only from the center of the inner rim of your eye and out towards the outer corner; it widens your eyes and makes you look as though you are not wearing as much, so it's a subtle look. Sometimes, eyeliner is not even needed! If you would prefer, only use it on your eyelids close to the eyelashes. Use a very steady hand and don't make the line too thick. For mascara, use 2-3 coats for volumous lashes. Start from the roots of your eyelashes and drag the wand to the tip. Wait until the previous coat has dried before applying the next. For eyeshadow, use soft, earthy tones. Not only will they help with your natural look but they are great shades for winter. Soft beiges and light bronze are good shades, but if you want to play it up a bit, you can try a pale lilac. Lilac will really bring out the green in your eyes and make your eyes stand out. If you want your eyes to look further apart, apply a darker shade to the outer half of your eyelid and a lighter shade to the inner half. Be sure to blend it well. If you want them to look closer together, do the exact opposite of that - lighter on the outside, darker on the inside. Putting a dark colour in the crease of your eyelid really makes your eyes pop. A light dusting of a pale, shimmery shadow across your browbone opens up your eyes.

For your lips, apply either just ChapStick or lip balm or add a gloss or lipstick on top. Applying ChapStick or lip balm first as a base to make the gloss or lipstick last longer. Use a nude gloss or lipstick to set off your natural look. If you find that that does not work for you, try a mocha shade. Depending on the colour of your hair, you can use a berry shade (which works well on brunettes) or a pale pink (which works well on blondes). Redheads look good with rosy pinks while people with black hair can use brighter reds (although that would not contrast well with your natural look).

As for the dark eye circles, you can try something like an at-home remedy. Cucumber slices on your eyes for 2-5 minutes really does work - the soothing juices will help reduce puffiness. Don't have any cucumber around? Potato slices work too! Or, try freezing a washcloth or two metal spoons in the freezer overnight and then applying them on your eyes for a few minutes in the morning to reduce the puffiness. Small amounts of Vitamin E oil can work, and getting enough sleep (at least 7 hours) will help with those dark eye circles. In the meantime, get a concealer that matches the shade of your neck (you should always match concealer, foundation, etc. to the shade of your neck as it is your true skin tone). Apply it and blend well. If you still notice the concealer, try applying your foundation and then seeing if it is so noticeable. Wear sunglasses when going outside during the sun's strongest point of the day - from 12 noon to 4 p.m.

Best of luck to you!

XOXO,

Laurie
Good to hear your going for a more natural look =]

Wear a light foundation to make your skin tone even, and cover up your dark circles. Then wear a shadow close to your skin tone, and some brown mascara.

SOS Need Prom Makeup help..... Best Answerr..!!?

I need makeup help for prom. I have a blue dress for prom. I have hazel eyes...light brown skin and dark brown hair ....( I am pakistani). What color eye shadow and blush should i wear to both complement my eyes and dress. I've heard that I shouldn't wear the same eye shadow as the dress... so yea...(if you have a pic of a certain eye style i should use like smokey eye give me the link pretty please) Also...it would be extra great..if you reccommmmend me some products that are not too expensive that I can use for the make up....like covergirl..revlon...stuff like that...cuz cash is tight right now so I would appreciate the help!

And...if that wasn't enough..do you know anywhere in nyc taht has some sort of prom package..that will jujst do everything for u..lol..if worst comes to worst and I dont wanna do my own makeup..?

That's me in the dress...soo please help me!!!

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y14/sha鈥?/a>SOS Need Prom Makeup help..... Best Answerr..!!?
you sound just like me lol dark hair, tan skin, hazel eyes, and im pakistani too:P lol oh i just noticed the pic, and your really pretty(:

haha anyways, umm, i would say for your eyes, one idea would be to wear a pale blue eyeshadow and then use liquid eyeliner, either black or navy blue and line your eyes, and wing the end out just a bit past the end of your eyes, put a little bit of shimmery white in the corners of your eyes too, makes them look brighter and either use lots of mascara(not clumpy) or even buy false lashes to make them longer. another idea would be still in the blues, but alot darker, for if you want more dramatic, use a navy eyeshadow, and dark midnight blue liner and smude it into your eyeshadow and line the bottom of your eyes with both the eyeshadow and eyeliner, and then the same with the mascara as before, or false lashes again. both those styles of eye makeup, ive got compliments on and we both have the same features. and as for the ';not wearing same colour as the dress'; , thats not true, as long as its either lighter or darker, it will look good. if you dont want to, golds and bronzes would look nice as well with black liquid liner.

i dont have a link to give you, but i think ive explained it pretty good(:. i also dont know specific products for you as i live in a small town in southern ontario in canada so i get most of my makeup from the drugstore too, but just look for makeup in the colours ive told you and you will be fine.

a blush that looks good on our skin is not true pink, a blush that looks good is a peachy pink colour, buy them in both cream blush and powder, blend the cream into the apples of your cheeks, then blend the powder along your cheekbones and use a semi-shimmery highlighter along the tops of your cheekbones. but sorry i dont know much about nyc...i hope i helped though and sorry its so long lol

  • Which type of makeup?!?!?! HELP!!!!!?

I like to wear makeup and i have a problem because i dont kno wat type of makeup to wear. I have dark eyes light brown hair and sort pale but not tan..... i like to wear eyeshadow, eyeliner (black),mascara, and lip gloss so can u help me oh and im in 7th grade!! grls help me!! o and btw im kinda into the brownish eyeshadow but not too darkWhich type of makeup?!?!?! HELP!!!!!?
Make sure your foundation or powder ( which ever you choose), is very close to the actual color of your complexion, so you don't have lines around your neck %26amp; face where your make up starts %26amp; stops. Brown eyecolor is a good warm color to start with, but not too dark on the eyeliner. Try a Dark brown eye peicil, for a eyeliner to start out with, and see if that isn't what your looking for. It may take some practice with the pencil @ first but it will get easier. You will want to stay with warm colors in the lip gloss also, if you stay with the brown eyecolor. No reds or Berry colors. Maybe a soft mocha color for the lips or a coral. To complete your look find a soft peach blush, or something a little darker, but not too dark.Which type of makeup?!?!?! HELP!!!!!?
Try the Almay Bring Out collection , its especially designed for specific color of eyes. So all the colors ( eyliner , shadow %26amp; mascara ) will brighten up and accentuate your eyes beautifully , basically its no fail makeup! You wont look too done up , everything will put together just right. check out the link below! hope you like %26amp; good luck on your first day back at school%26lt;3

ps. Try Rimmel Lip Gloss , its cheap %26amp; stays on nicely too.
You might want to go to the make up counter and test colors out- see what goes best with your skin, the girls will help you with questions on colors and what would look best on you for your age. I think that black eye liner is too harsh, you might try a brownish-black. you can also go to you tube and write in makeup- they have a lot of great pointers.
